These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of FaceSlop and SkyPost ("we", "us") for the use of faceslop.com. By using FaceSlop you accept them, together with the privacy policy.

1. What FaceSlop is

FaceSlop lets you edit pictures and make short videos in your browser and post or schedule them on Bluesky. Your Bluesky account, and everything you post there, is governed by Bluesky's terms and community guidelines, which you must also follow.

2. Using it responsibly

You are responsible for what you make and post. You agree not to use FaceSlop to:

• put someone's face or likeness into a picture or video without their consent, or in a way that is sexual, degrading or harassing;
• pass off an edited picture or video as a genuine record of something that happened, impersonate a real person, or mislead people about who said or did what;
• create or post content that is illegal where you or your audience are, that infringes someone's copyright or other rights, or that breaks Bluesky's rules;
• interfere with the service, for instance by scraping it, overloading the scheduler, or working around its limits.

Satire, parody and jokes with people who are in on them are what this is for. We may disconnect the scheduler or end Pro for accounts that break these rules.

3. Your content

What you make with FaceSlop is yours. We claim no rights in it. Media for a scheduled post is held on our server only to post it and is deleted once posted. On the free plan, downloaded pictures and videos carry a small faceslop.com mark; Pro removes it.

4. Free plan and Pro

The free plan currently allows one scheduled post waiting at a time and videos up to 30 seconds. Pro removes the mark, allows up to 100 scheduled posts, adds best-time scheduling, videos up to 3 minutes, your own mark on downloads, link cards with your own title and picture, and post history and trends. The same Pro membership also covers SkyPost Pro on the same Bluesky account. We may change what the free plan and Pro include; if a change takes something away from Pro, we will say so before it applies to you.

Pro is billed by Stripe as a monthly or a yearly subscription at the price shown at checkout, renewing automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time through the billing portal in the Pro panel; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refunded for partial periods. Prices may change for future periods, with notice before your renewal.

5. The scheduler

Scheduled posts are sent by our server at the time you set, on a best-effort basis. Posting depends on Bluesky and on the grant you gave the scheduler. If a post cannot go out on time because the service was down, it is held for you to decide rather than posted late; if Bluesky rejects it or the grant has been revoked, it is marked failed and you are told why. We cannot guarantee that every post goes out on the second.

6. No warranty

FaceSlop is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind. Face swapping and hair matching are approximate, browsers differ, and features may change or stop. We do not promise that the service is uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.

7. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost data, lost posts or lost followers. Our total liability to you for anything to do with FaceSlop is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as the law permits.

8. Ending things

You can stop using FaceSlop at any time, disconnect the scheduler and cancel Pro. We may suspend or end access for accounts that break these terms, and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice, refunding any prepaid period that would be lost.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. Using FaceSlop after that means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in them takes away consumer rights you have where you live.
